Susan represents purchasers, sellers, developers, landlords and tenants in all types of commercial real estate transactions. Her clients range from Fortune 500 companies to local owners, developers and institutions. She has recently worked on sales and acquisitions of industrial sites, Class A office buildings, large land assemblages, apartment projects, commercial condominiums, shopping centers and other types and sizes of commercial projects.
Her practice also includes representation of landlords and tenants in lease transactions, borrowers in loan transactions and landowners, developers and tenants in all manner of development and post-development commercial real estate matters.
Rezoning, Land Use and Permitting
Susan’s zoning and land use practice focuses on helping her clients navigate through the various entitlement processes. She represents developers and landowners in rezoning proposals, site plan approval, subdivision, building permits and other forms of development proposals, entitlements and permits for a variety of commercial projects. Recent zoning and entitlement cases include mixed-use developments, multi-family projects, office parks, residential developments, shopping centers, communications facilities and other commercial developments.
Susan represents both commercial and residential owners and developers in appeals of zoning decisions and variances from zoning ordinances, annexations and interpretations of ordinance regulations.
